Scott Trimble

After wrapping Alvin and the Chipmunks early last week, I flew with Melanie to Hawaii [we’ve since broken up, though] which completed my 101 list item #56 (while also bringing me a step closer to completing item #51).

We only stayed for three nights, but it was enough to see most of the island of Oahu. We visited places like Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, Kualoa Park, Waimea Falls, Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial, La Mariana Sailing Club Bar, several other restaurants, and various past filming locations.

We also visited my good friend Scott Cobb and his fiancée, Portia Gregorio. Scott has been working on season three of Lost in Honolulu since last summer. They’re shooting the season finale right now, so security was tighter than usual. We got to visit the studio backlot and production offices, but even my past experience working on shows like Mission: Impossible 3 and Alias (both by some of the same producers) wasn’t enough for them to let us see the current sets. No big deal, though. They’ll be on TV anyway soon enough.
